As a Ballroom and Latin American dance instructor and owner of her own dance studio (Bailamos Dance Studio), Adél Dreyer has more than 20 years experience working with all kinds of people.“You are never just the dance instructor. You wear many hats: teacher, advisor and confidant. Clients entrust you with their deepest secrets and problems. They share the happy and sad with you, and you have the ethical responsibility to keep all they share safe in your heart,” she says.
For the past 6 years, Adél has worked as a dog training instructor and animal behaviourist, ensuring she has learned even more about people. “Most of the time, the dogs are not the ones with the problems, it’s the owners who need correct guidance and training.
Adél has always been passionate about motivational speaking. Her audiences are touched by her messages, her way of speaking, the way she carries herself and her sense of humour. She is an experienced public speaker, and whether the group is 5 or over 200 people, she is not intimidated: “I am always excited to address my audience. If I touch the life of just one person in a day, then that was a successful day.”
Adél is a qualified Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner, NLP Life Coach, Transformation Coach and a Negative Emotional Practitioner™. She covers the Western Cape, and her clients range from business owners to managers, to housewives and other life coaches. Using the NLP coaching methods, she guides and assists people to break through negative emotion, such as traumatic events from their past, how to stop overeating or stop smoking, or even just how to get out of a comfort zone: “If you want to make a positive change in your life, if you want to lose the emotional baggage you feel is dragging you down, or if you just need help moving forward in your life, I will help you to live the happy and full life you are meant to live.”

What is neuro linguistic programming (NLP)?
NLP stands for ‘Neuro Linguistic Programming’ and has been around since 1970’s when its co-founders, Richard Bandler and John Grinder first modelled other therapists. NLP is frequently known as the “users manual for your mind” and studying NLP gives us insights into how our thinking patterns can effect every aspect of our lives. It looks at the way in which we think and process our thoughts (Neuro), the language patterns we use (Linguistic) and our behaviours (Programming) and how these interact to have a positive (or negative) effect on us as individuals. NLP is a collection of a wide range of methods and models which create an understanding of thought process and behaviour. Understanding these techniques can bring about a positive change in you and others.
