Arniston Spa Hotel

Napier, in the heart of the Overberg, is nestled at the foot of the Soetmuisberg between Caledon & Bredasdorp. It is a picture perfect small village, filled with charm and character. Napier has a lively community and the best of country fare can be found in this area.

Ivan Boshoff retired and moved to Napier in 2013. He soon had a dream to start an indoor market in Napier that could trade every weekend. He has been looking for suitable premises for quite a while and also kept on ‘nagging’ Karen Schoeman to become his partner in this venture. Before they realised, it was no longer a dream and soon the market had a name. The Napier Village Market was born. The response from villagers have been overwhelmingly positive and encouraging. We were also flooded with applications for table/stall space. All available stalls have been allocated but we do have people on the waiting list. The opening was on the 12th of August, and the response was absolutely overwhelming.

The best of local fare will be available, with delectable goodies, Indian spices, fresh bread, fresh vegetables, delicious koeksisters, venison, organic chicken, coffee, gourmet pies, organic eggs, homemade feta cheese & yogurt, pork sausage & chorizo, chilli sauce, pesto, sundried tomatoes, wind chimes, homemade sweets, fresh fruit juice, muffins, white cheeses, keep calm signs, freshly made boerewors rolls, fresh flowers, local art and much more…
